OMX for E-Commerce

Industrial-Strength Order Management

OMX, by OrderMotion, is an on-demand, industrial-strength visual order management platform combining practical data insight with actionable analytics to drive profitable operational, merchandising and marketing decisions.

OMX seamlessly manages the operational activities at each stage of the order life cycle - from order and payment processing, fulfillment and inventory management to campaign management and execution, as well as customer service.

Throughout the order process, OMX collects vast amounts of item, order and customer records, which are housed in a centralized database and displayed through visual dashboards for advanced real-time trend analysis and reporting.

Intuitively Designed, Real-Time Visual Interface

Engineered to give online merchants new insight into their daily operations, the role-based OMX dashboards house a rich set of widgets that offer a visual representation of the business metrics that matter most. The data displayed in the widgets lets merchants make better decisions to drive revenue and reduce expense.

Dashboards are preloaded with widgets and menus that are the most relevant to each business role. Standard roles include Executive, Merchandising, Marketing, Customer Service, Warehouse and Accounting. Merchants can customize their dashboards with a variety of widgets, set their own parameters and watch the trends and data in real time.

There are five unique classes of widgets, each of which is described below:
  • Management Widgets – Management widgets give merchants access to configure and manage critical aspects of their business. For example, the “Drop Shipper Management” widget enables merchants to setup and configure drop shippers.

  • Watch Widgets – Watch widgets enable monitoring of the operational part of the business. These widgets include indicators that require action. For example, the “Drop Shipper Watch” widget shows the number of unshipped orders by drop shipper, which requires the merchant to call the drop shipper.

  • Stats Widgets – Stats widgets present statistical information to merchants, usually based on a defined timeframe. For example, the “Top Items Ordered” widget shows the top products ordered in the last 30 days.

  • Snapshot Widgets – Snapshot widgets display a snapshot of the business, at the time when the widget is loaded. For example, the “Inventory Snapshot” widget shows the current value of the inventory on-hand.

  • Queue Widgets – Queue widgets enable merchants to manage workflow. Merchants must take action to remove orders from the queue. For example, the “Review Queue” widget shows orders placed in "review” status. This widget also allows for the management of the orders in review.
